Since 1949, we have existed as the manufacturing division of General Conveyor Co. Ltd.
Now operating as a separate company,  we will continue to provide precision manufacturing
for satisfied customers in North America and Europe. With all the services you need under
one roof, we are an industry leader. Our production levels range from one-of-a-kind
prototypes to large, high volume production runs meeting OEM expectations.

Gencon makes extensive use of computer-aided-manufacturing (CAM) tools to achieve better quality and lower cost. Capabilities include: Machine Shop, Metal Fabrication, Welding, Painting, and Assembly. Some of our machinery includes a 4400 watt laser cutting machine, CNC punching centre, 10' mechanical shear, (3) press brakes, mills, lathes and a variety of other equipment for complete mild steel and stainless steel fabrication.

The most recent addition to our manufacturing plant is a new Bystronic 4400 watt laser cutting machine, one of the most modern units in North America! The machine is equipped to cut sheet/plate steel and tubes/pipe. The laser can cut a variety of materials including mild steel, stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, brass, wood and some plastics. We can cut your materials into just about any design you require with a very clean edge. We can also punch most types of steel to your exact specifications.

Impressive accuracy:

Gencon's laser cutter is CNC controlled and equipped with an automatic shuttle table, so even very heavy pieces of steel can be managed for extremely accurate cutting. We have 5' × 10' sheet capacity. And our highly trained staff knows how to get the most out of our equipment.

Gencon’s new technology does a superb job with:

• up to 0.5" stainless steel (clean cut)
• up to 1" mild steel
• tube cutting up to 12" diameter (depending on part dimension).

In addition to laser cutting and punching, Gencon offers full welding, shearing and forming services – not only for raw materialss, but also for complete manufactured items! This gives you tremendous flexibility in your manufacturing processes.
